Ultra Stochastic

Adaptive Stochastic Signals for Cleaner Entries

The classic Stochastic oscillator measures momentum by comparing the current close to the recent high–low range, but it often becomes too reactive during volatile periods and too slow during strong trends. This inconsistency leads to noisy crossovers, unreliable signals and difficulty separating meaningful momentum shifts from random movement.

Ultra Stochastic improves this with an adaptive smoothing engine driven by R² trend strength. In clean trends, the %K and %D lines slow down to filter noise and highlight only meaningful shifts, while in choppy conditions they become more responsive. ADX filtering, R² gating, minimum separation logic and a cooldown mechanism work together to suppress weak or clustered signals.

Built-in divergence detection identifies both regular and hidden divergences using non-repainting pivots. Visual clarity is enhanced with neon styled lines, dynamic K/D fill, optional level lines and chop zone highlighting for consistent and readable signals.

Use Ultra Stochastic to focus on high quality momentum shifts through %K and %D crossovers that pass ADX and R² conditions. Signals from overbought and oversold zones highlight reversal opportunities, while divergences indicate potential continuation or early trend change. Combine with price structure or your strategy to refine entries, exits and confirmation.
