Set sail aboard the Yasawa Princess II – Fiji’s brand-new cruise ship with her maiden voyage being in May 2026 – for a week of stargazing and island serenity led by world-renowned astrophysicist Alex Filippenko. We have partnered with Dr. Filippenko for seven days sailing through the turquoise waters of Fiji’s Mamanucas and Yasawas. By day: white sand beaches, secluded lagoons, and vibrant coral reefs. By night: some of the clearest, darkest skies on Earth, both from the ship’s deck and remote island locations. With only 44 travelers aboard, you’ll actually get to ask your questions, use the telescopes, and learn about the cosmos with fellow enthusiasts who share your curiosity. Please be at Blue Lagoon Cruises Office at Port Denarau for embarkation at 2pm on Friday 2 October (local time) and return to Denarau Port on Friday 9 October for disembarkation from 10am (local time).
