Day 7 — polite bump

Subject: Invoice [number] — just checking it reached you

Hey [name], looping back on invoice [number] for [project], due [date]. If it’s already in your payment queue, ignore this. If anything on the invoice looks off, reply and I’ll fix it the same day.

Day 14 — make it easy

Subject: Easy pay link for invoice [number]

Hey [name], invoice [number] is now 14 days past due. Here’s the link again: [link]. If cash flow is tight this week, tell me a date you can pay by and I’ll note it.

Day 21 — consequence without drama

Subject: Pausing new work until invoice [number] clears

Hey [name], I still haven’t received invoice [number]. I’m pausing new work and late fees start on [date] per the agreement. Pay here: [link]. Once it clears I’m happy to jump back in.
