The beginner mistake that kills 90% of women's gym progress

Most women walk into the gym and go straight to the treadmill. 45 minutes of cardio. Maybe some ab work. Done.

Here's the problem: that routine will never build the physique you actually want.

The women you see with toned arms, strong glutes, and visible definition? They're lifting heavy. Period.

What actually works for beginners:

  1. Start with compound lifts — squats, deadlifts, bench press, rows. These hit multiple muscles and build real strength fast.

  1. Progressive overload — add 2.5-5lbs each week. Your body adapts to the same weight. You need to force growth.

  1. Train 3-4x per week — full body or upper/lower split. You don't need 6 days. You need consistency with 3-4.

  1. Eat enough protein — 0.8g per pound of bodyweight minimum. This is where most women fall short.

  1. Get a community — accountability is the #1 predictor of whether someone sticks with it past month 2.

I built Iron Queens because I was tired of seeing women spin their wheels. Inside, you get structured workout programs, gym playlists that actually hit, and a community of women who are all about putting in the work.

No fluff. Just results.
