A window for a room that does not have one
I spent 40 years in office cubes. No windows. No natural light. Noise, no privacy, left-brain all day.
The first paintings were not for collectors. They were a window I could turn to — a place my mind could rest for a minute before going back to the task.
That is still the work: oil, acrylic, gouache, and photographs of places that are quiet to look at. If a piece does not give the eye a rest, it does not leave the studio.
I have 80 of them. Prints are how most people start.
