System of the Month: ArcisEquinox.

Equinox started live on ARCIS at the end of August.

The first few weeks were messy.

Up.

Down.

Sideways.

Exactly the sort of period where people usually switch a system off.

Then Gold volatility came back.

And Equinox lit up.

October:

+15.38%

73% win rate

526 trades

It’s a high-volume Gold mean-reversion system using tight stops and controlled risk.

No martingale.

No grid.

No averaging into losers.

The interesting bit?

Equinox doesn’t need every month to be spectacular.

It just needs the strong periods to outweigh the quieter ones.

That’s why it works so well inside a diversified ARCIS portfolio.

One system cools off.

Another wakes up.

October belonged to Equinox.

This week on Arcis finishing the Month strong

Profile picture

Thought the trading month was pretty much done yesterday…

Woke up this morning and Gold had absolutely fallen out of bed 😂

All 4 ARCIS Gold systems kicked into action.

Biggest day of the month.

And they smashed it.

Three completely different account sizes…

All green.

ARCIS Live Edge: +$19,782 this week

FusionMarkets Live: +$1,797

ACY Live: +$208

Equinox, TitanImpulse and Waypoint did most of the damage as Gold sold off hard.

That’s exactly why we run different systems, different markets and different risk profiles.

You never know which market is going to wake up next.

Every trade tracked open to close inside ARCIS.

Not a bad way to finish the month.

Which system made more money? Wrong question.

One of our systems made $24,987. Another made $14,946. Which one would you rather run?

Most people pick the bigger number. Here's why that can be the wrong call.

Both are live automated systems in the Arcis portfolio. Here are the real numbers from the Arcis Live Edge view on the platform, all time, each system at its native size on a $100k account, as of 31 Oct 2026:

TitanImpulse (gold, XAUUSD)

Profit: +$24,987 (+25.0%)

Trades: 853

Win rate: 91%

Max drawdown: -19.4%

ARCIS Weekly (forex, EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY)

Profit: +$14,946 (+14.9%)

Trades: 159

Win rate: 51%

Max drawdown: -7.0%

Now divide the return by the worst drawdown.

TitanImpulse: 25.0% return for a 19.4% drop. About 1.3 to 1.

ARCIS Weekly: 14.9% return for a 7.0% drop. About 2.1 to 1.

Per unit of pain, the smaller earner did better.

Three things to take into your own system building:

  1. Always read profit next to max drawdown. A big return that needed a deep drop to get there is a different system to the same return with a shallow one.

  2. Drawdown decides how much you can allocate. If you can only stomach a 10% drop, Titan at full size would already have pushed you past it. Weekly would not have.

  3. A high win rate doesn't protect you from drawdown. Titan wins 91% of its trades and still has the deeper drop, because a few big losses arrive close together.

Your turn: When you look at a system, which number do you check first, profit or max drawdown?

How do you choose which ARCIS systems to run together?

I just posted a new video showing how I look at system combinations, performance, risk, drawdown and diversification inside ARCIS Trade.

The goal isn’t finding one “perfect” system.

It’s building a combination that works together.

Arcis portfolio month by month, 30 Oct 2026

Some of our systems had losing months. The portfolio didn't have one.

Arcis runs 11 automated systems across forex, gold and US indices. Each one has its own rules, its own market and its own bad patches. Here's what happens when you run them together.

Here are the real numbers for the whole Arcis Edge LIVE portfolio, from the P&L calendar on the Arcis platform, per $100k at Balanced risk, as of 30 Oct 2026:

June: +$9.9k

July: +$14.6k

August: +$27.0k

September: +$7.1k

October so far: +$3.8k

That's about +$62.3k over five months, with no red month.

Now compare that with one system on its own. ArcisRampart, our gold breakout system, lost money in July, September and October (as we showed on 28 Oct). Its whole profit came from one big August.

Three things to take into your own system building:

  1. A red month on one system is normal. Every system with a real edge has them. The question is what else is running when it happens.

  2. Spread across markets, not just across strategies. Forex, gold and index systems tend to have their good and bad months at different times, so one system's loss is often covered by another's gain.

  3. Look at the size of the green months, not just the colour. September and October were much smaller than August. A portfolio smooths the ride, it doesn't make every month a big one.

Your turn: Would you rather run one system you know inside out, or several smaller ones that don't move together?

TitanImpulse results, 29 Oct 2026

It wins 91% of its trades. Three losing trades last week wiped out weeks of wins. It's still up $11,532.

TitanImpulse is an automated gold (XAUUSD) system in the Arcis portfolio, tagged LIVE on the platform. It uses rules-based position sizing that scales with the account, with built-in drawdown limits. It trades a lot: 835 trades so far.

Here are the real numbers from the Arcis platform, on a $50k standalone basis, as of 29 Oct 2026:

Profit: +$11,532 (+23.1%)

Trades: 835

Win rate: 91%

Profit factor: 1.18

Max drawdown: -19.2%

Sharpe: 0.77

Now look at what a 91% win rate really looks like in the trade list. Of the last 60 trades, most wins were between +$72 and +$179. Three were losses of -$896 each, two of them on 20 Oct within an hour of each other.

Three things to take into your own system building:

  1. Win rate on its own tells you almost nothing. A 91% win rate with a profit factor of 1.18 means the wins only just outweigh the losses. One loss here can cost as much as five to twelve wins.

  2. Know your average win against your average loss before you trust a system. If the losers are many times bigger than the winners, the edge lives or dies on keeping those few big losses under control.

  3. Size it for the bad cluster, not the average day. Losses on systems like this tend to come in bunches. Max drawdown of -19.2% is the number that tells you how much to allocate, not the 91%. That's why Titan runs with a drawdown limit and alongside forex and index systems, not on its own.

Your turn: Would you rather run a system that wins 9 out of 10 trades with big occasional losses, or one that wins half its trades with small losses?
