I'm Emina. I grew up in a small village in Bosnia where my family struggled every day just to make ends meet.
My childhood wasn't easy. I was abused at school and mistreated by people I trusted. I carried that weight in silence for years, believing it was somehow my fault. They called me a "weeping willow" because of how much sadness I carried — but they didn't know how many nights I spent crying, or how many times I wanted to give up.
For six years, I battled thyroid illness that brought constant anxiety, arrhythmias, and a sadness so heavy it felt impossible to lift. Every day felt the same — like living in a circle I couldn't escape.
But I refused to stop.
I started writing — pouring every thought onto paper. For the first time, I felt relief. Writing became my way out when I couldn't find a door.
I started trading, failed constantly, but kept telling myself: there's hope. I can build something from this.
Today, my past doesn't define me — it forged my resilience. Every tear, every silent night, every failure shaped the woman I am now.
This book is for anyone who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or trapped. Things change. I'm living proof.
