LEARN THE CAR BUSINESS....
Every lead that comes in is golden, capitalize on every call. This phone call here was a $400 call on a simple junk car. I say $400 call because that was the profit made after buying the car. Learn how to generate leads, Suscribe!I’m looking to create a community of nothing but sharks ready to take over the car market!!!
Most people overpay for cars by $3,000-$8,000. Not because they're dumb — because they don't know where to look.
Here's the playbook I use every single time:
Step 1: Skip the dealership. Dealers mark up 20-40% over what you'd pay at auction or through a private seller. That markup is their profit, not your value.
Step 2: Learn the auction calendar. Government auctions, repo auctions, and insurance salvage auctions run weekly in most states. Cars sell for 40-70% of retail. The key is knowing which ones have the best inventory and lowest buyer fees.
Step 3: Run the numbers before you bid. I check wholesale value (not retail) on every car. If I can't flip it for at least $3K profit after repairs and fees, I pass. Discipline is everything.
Step 4: Inspect with a checklist, not emotions. A clean-looking car can have $4K in hidden problems. I use a 22-point checklist that takes 15 minutes and has saved me from buying at least a dozen money pits.
Step 5: Negotiate like a pro. Private sellers almost always have room to move. I start 25-30% below asking and meet somewhere in the middle. Most people are too afraid to lowball — that's money left on the table.
I've flipped over 100 cars using this exact approach. Some months I clear $5K-$10K on the side.
If you want the full system — auction lists, negotiation scripts, my inspection checklist, and live deal alerts — that's what The Car Vault is for.
