If you just got into K-pop and you're wondering where to start — I got you. There are literally hundreds of groups, so here's my no-fluff starter list:

1. SEVENTEEN — 13 members, self-producing kings. Start with "Super" or "God of Music" and you'll be hooked.

2. Stray Kids — if you like high-energy, experimental sound. "MEGAVERSE" and "S-Class" are perfect entry points.

3. aespa — the future of K-pop. Their concept is wild (AI counterparts??) and their music goes HARD. Try "Supernova."

4. NewJeans — fresh, minimalist, effortlessly cool. "Ditto" and "Super Shy" are iconic.

5. ATEEZ — stage presence that will literally give you chills. Watch any live performance of "Guerrilla."

This is obviously just scratching the surface. There's ENHYPEN, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, RIIZE, ZEROBASEONE... the list goes on.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, that's exactly why I made K-pop Passion — a space for new fans to learn the ropes without judgment. Come say hi 👋
