The repurposing system that actually grows your audience (not more filming)

Been running Kattassie for a while now and here's the one thing that's actually moved the needle on getting views without burning out: repurposing, not creating.

Most creators think growth = filming more. It doesn't. It's turning ONE piece of coastal content into 5-7 formats:

  1. Long-form → the "anchor" (YouTube/podcast)

  2. 3 vertical clips pulled from the best moments (Reels/TikTok/Shorts)

  3. A carousel breaking down the key point as text

  4. A voice-note style audio clip for Twitter/X

  5. A behind-the-scenes story frame

The trick is sequencing — drop the clips over 4-5 days, not all at once. Platforms reward consistency way more than volume.

If you want the exact system I use (templates, caption formulas, and the repurposing workflow), it's all inside the Coastal Creator Masterclass — just dropped a 20% launch discount for anyone joining this week (code KATTASSIE20).

Happy to answer questions on content strategy below 🌊

The 3 signs you're burning out (before it's too late)

Most people don't realise they're burning out until they hit the wall. By then it takes months to recover.

Here are the 3 warning signs I see over and over again working with digital marketers and content creators:

1. You're "busy" but nothing moves forward

You're responding to messages, scrolling feeds, tweaking campaigns — but at the end of the day, nothing meaningful got done. That's not productivity. That's motion without progress.

2. You dread the thing you used to love

Remember when you were excited to create? If opening your laptop now feels like a chore, that's not laziness — it's your brain waving a white flag.

3. You're recovering FROM work, not FOR work

Weekends aren't recharging you anymore. You're just barely surviving until Monday. That cycle compounds fast.

The good news? Burnout isn't permanent. It's a signal that your system needs a reset — not more hustle, not another productivity hack, but a real detox of the habits and inputs draining your energy.

That's exactly what the Detox Playbook is built for. A step-by-step system to cut the noise, protect your focus, and get back to doing work that actually matters.

G’day legends,

Hope you’re all still riding the ridiculous gratitude wave from Challenge #1 — loving the shares you dropped last time!

This week we’re keeping it simple (because that’s the whole point).

Challenge #2: Delete One Tab

Life feels heavy when we’ve got 47 tabs open — literal and metaphorical. So here’s your quirky coastal task:

  1. Delete, unsubscribe, or say no to just one thing this week.
Could be:

• An app that’s draining your dopamine

• A notification that makes you feel behind

• A commitment that no longer sparks joy

• One doomscroll session

  1. Notice how it feels (lighter? weirder? strangely freeing?).

  2. Come back and tell the crew what you deleted and what happened. The funnier or more relatable, the better.

My example: I finally deleted that productivity app that kept yelling at me. The guilt was loud for 24 hours… then beautiful silence. The ocean approved.

The gentle savage truth:

Overcoming the big stuff often starts by quietly removing the small noise. Anyone can do this — no perfection required, just one small quirky win.

Drop your “I deleted this…” story below. I’ll reply to every single one.

Who’s in? Let’s make simplifying feel less boring and more like a win. 🌊

(Still laughing at how hard it was to let go of one tiny app)
