5 Recipes That Got My Picky Eater to Actually Eat Vegetables
If your kid thinks broccoli is a punishment, I get it. Mine did too.
After years of testing recipes on my own kids (and plenty of rejected plates), I found 5 recipes that work almost every time:
1. Hidden Veggie Mac & Cheese — Blend butternut squash into the cheese sauce. They literally can't tell.
2. Spinach Banana Pancakes — Green pancakes sound weird until your kid calls them "Hulk pancakes" and asks for more.
3. Cauliflower Nuggets — Coat cauliflower florets in breadcrumbs and bake. Dip in ketchup. Done.
4. Zucchini Brownies — Yes, brownies with zucchini. They come out fudgy and your kid gets fiber without knowing it.
5. Carrot Fries — Toss carrot sticks in olive oil, roast at 200°C for 20 min. Crispy, sweet, addictive.
The trick isn't hiding vegetables — it's making them taste like something your kid already loves.
