Stop waiting on inventory to shoot the PDP
Most DTC brands still treat photography as a warehouse problem.
The product has to land. Someone has to style it. The set has to match last month's campaign. Then you find out the hero angle doesn't work on mobile and you rebook the studio.
That's why launch creatives ship late — not because the brand is slow.
CGI flips the order. You can lock the bottle, the metal, the fabric, and the lighting from a CAD file, a dieline, and a few reference photos. The 8 stills and the 360 can be done while the first carton is still on the water.
This is not "AI product pics." Photoreal product CGI is a material and lighting problem. If the glass doesn't carry the right IOR, shoppers feel it. If the gold hardware is 4000K instead of 5600K, the PDP looks like a different SKU.
The brands that win Q4 are the ones whose PDP and ads are live the day inventory hits the 3PL — not two weeks later.
If you're sitting on a hero SKU with no shoot date, that's the bottleneck. Not ads.
