Yard props fail outdoors for three boring reasons
Most Halloween STL dumps look fine on a desk and die on a lawn.
The three killers I see every October:
1. Walls that are actually 0.8mm
A slicer "vase mode" ghost looks sharp. Rain and a kid's shoe fold it. For anything that sits outside, I keep walls at 3–4 perimeters and 15–20% infill. Ugly inside. Stands up.
2. Elephant-foot on the base, then it won't sit flat
You compensate by sanding, the base gets round, the prop leans, it blows over. I print bases with a 0.2mm first layer and a 5mm brim, then I slice the brim off with a knife — I don't sand the bottom.
3. PETG in the sun, PLA in the rain, both wrong
PLA gets brittle overnight outside. PETG holds water spots and sags on a hot porch. For yard work I print PLA+ and spray a cheap matte outdoor sealer. Not pretty in a review photo. Survives.
If you want files already split and oriented for 220–256mm beds, that's the Halloween pack. If the printer itself is the problem, that's a separate 1-hour session — not bundled, not lifetime.
