The Automated Zero-Cloud Server Hardening Scripts

$14.99

Three Python scripts that report changed files and suspicious log requests

Three small Python 3 scripts for your own site folder and access log. They tell you which files were added, changed or removed since your last clean check, and list requests in an access log that look like path-traversal or config-file probes.

What you get

  • Offline folder monitor (file_tamper_monitor_local.py): snapshot, check and list a folder by SHA-256 fingerprint, with a local log and exit codes.
  • The original monitor script (file_tamper_monitor.py): one file you edit and run, with an optional alert to a web address you set.
  • Access log scanner (access_log_scanner.py): reads an Apache or nginx access log you already have and lists path-traversal and config-file looking requests, counted per address.
  • 5-chapter handbook with the exact terminal commands, a sample access log to practise on, and an honest-limits chapter.

Good to know
Detection only: it reports, it does not block attacks, stop probes or isolate anything. Take the first snapshot on a known clean copy. Not a firewall, not a security audit, not legal advice. Tested on Windows with Python 3.14.
