The Data Extraction & LLM-Ready Markdown Toolbox

$9.99

Python scripts that turn saved web pages into clean Markdown

A text-based toolkit of Python 3 scripts that turn saved web pages into clean Markdown with a rough size estimate, so you can see what you are about to paste into an AI chat. Built for developers, creators and indie hackers.

It is a one-time digital download, not a subscription. The scripts use only the Python standard library, call no AI, and use no cookies or tracking.

What you get

  • Page fetcher (scripts/fetch_pages.py): downloads public web pages politely. It reads robots.txt, waits at least 1 second between requests, and stops at 25 pages unless you raise the limit.
  • HTML to Markdown converter (scripts/html_to_markdown.py): works offline on saved pages. It removes scripts, styles, navigation, footers, hidden elements and 1x1 tracking images.
  • Field extractor and one-step pipeline (extract_fields.py, pipeline.py): pull named fields into CSV or JSON, or run fetch and convert together.
  • 3-chapter handbook with the exact terminal commands and an honest-limits chapter.

Good to know
You are responsible for checking each site’s terms and robots.txt, and the laws that apply to you. Tested on Windows with Python 3.14.
