The quote isn't the close. The follow-up is.
Most mobile detailers don't have a lead problem.
They have a silence problem.
Someone DMs: "How much for a full detail?"
You send the number.
They say they'll think about it.
You wait.
You forget.
The job goes to whoever texted them two days later.
That's not a personality issue. It's a system issue.
A follow-up isn't "just checking in!!" three times in a row. It's:
a message the next day that answers the real hesitation
a second note that makes booking easy
a stop date, so you don't chase people who already chose someone else
If you booked every ghosted quote from the last 30 days at even half your usual ticket, that would probably cover a month of ads.
Start with the last 10 people who asked for a price and never booked. Text them once. Then put the next follow-up on a date.
That's the whole business, hiding in your DMs.
