Why you can eat pizza and still lose fat (the math doesn't lie)

Everyone thinks getting lean means chicken breast and broccoli forever. That's not how it works.

Here's the actual science: fat loss comes down to a calorie deficit. That's it. Not food quality, not meal timing, not avoiding carbs after 6pm.

Quick example:

Say your maintenance is 2,000 calories. You eat 1,700. That's a 300 calorie deficit — roughly 0.6 lbs of fat loss per week.

Now here's the part most coaches won't tell you: it doesn't matter if those 1,700 calories include 2 slices of pizza. As long as you hit your protein target (~0.8g per lb of bodyweight) and stay in your deficit, the fat comes off.

The reason restrictive diets fail isn't science — it's psychology. You can't sustain a diet you hate. Period.

The real framework:

  • Hit your calorie target (small deficit, nothing extreme)

  • Hit your protein goal

  • Eat whatever you want for the rest

  • Stay consistent for 12+ weeks

That's it. That's the whole secret.

I built LeanFuel because I was tired of watching women torture themselves with diets that were designed to fail. If you want to learn the full system, come join us.
