Why most 20-somethings feel 'stuck' (and it's not a motivation problem)

I spent the last year talking to dozens of people in their early-to-mid 20s who felt lost about their career and life direction. Almost none of them had a motivation problem. They had a specificity problem.

Here's the pattern I kept seeing:

1. Generic advice makes it worse. "Follow your passion" or "just take action" sounds good but gives your brain nothing to actually do. Vague goals produce vague results.

2. Comparison is doing the damage, not indecision. Most people aren't actually confused about what excites them — they're comparing their real, messy day-to-day against someone else's highlight reel, and concluding they're behind. They're not. They just don't have a personalized plan.

3. The fix isn't more information. It's a specific starting point. The people who broke out of the 'stuck' phase weren't the ones who read the most books — they were the ones who had ONE clear, personalized next action and executed it before deciding on the next one.

That's the whole idea behind what I built at Lifeliness Hub — personalized ebooks instead of generic self-help. You answer a few real questions about where you're at, and the guide is written around YOUR actual situation, not a hypothetical reader.

If you're in the fog right now: stop looking for more inspiration. Get one specific next step and go do it. That's the entire unlock.
