Why ADHD brains don't need more motivation — they need this instead

If you have ADHD and you've ever opened 47 job listings, read 3 of them, got overwhelmed, and watched YouTube for 4 hours instead — this is for you.

The problem was never motivation. You WANT to apply. You WANT to do the thing. The problem is the gap between wanting and doing feels like a canyon.

Here's what actually works:

1. Make the first step absurdly small. Not "apply to 10 jobs today." Just "open one tab and type your name." That's it. Momentum handles the rest.

2. Do it with other people. Body-doubling is borderline magic for ADHD. When someone else is working next to you (even on a screen), your brain goes "oh, we're doing stuff now? cool."

3. Track streaks, not outcomes. You can't control whether you get the job. You CAN control whether you showed up today. Stack enough showed-up days and results happen.

That's what we built Lockin Club around. No 47-step productivity systems. No guilt. Just a daily 2-minute check-in, people who get it, and body-doubling sessions where we lock in together.

If you're tired of knowing what to do but not doing it — we get it. Come lock in.
