The 3 things that actually fixed my productivity (not what you think)
I spent years trying every productivity hack โ Pomodoro, cold showers at 5am, dopamine detoxes, the whole thing.
Most of it didn't stick. Here's what actually moved the needle:
1. I stopped planning and started doing. Planning feels productive but it's not. I used to spend 45 minutes organizing my Notion before doing any real work. Now I write 3 things on a sticky note and start the hardest one immediately. No system, no template, no setup.
2. I got around people who were locked in. Your environment is everything. When you're surrounded by people scrolling and complaining, you match that energy. When you're around guys who wake up with a mission, you can't help but step up. This is literally why I built LockIn.
3. I made my phone boring. Deleted Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube from my home screen. Moved them to a folder on page 3. Screen time dropped from 6 hours to under 2 within a week. That's 4 extra hours a day of my life back.
None of this is complicated. The hard part is doing it when nobody's watching. That's what accountability is for.
If you're tired of knowing what to do but not doing it โ that's exactly what we solve inside LockIn.
