The majority of the past five years of my life have been spent wandering around the USA. I started in a four door sedan (Black Betty) and eventually moved on to my current home now which is a tiny van by the name of Ophelia. All along the way I have kept track (and still do) of my favorite locations and put them into a neatly categorized Google Map with notes/recommendations about each location. The locations range from epic hikes, scenic drives, places to sleep, eat, drink coffee, get your vehicle fixed, buy your locally sourced groceries, and fill your water jug. Everything you could ever need & want can be found on The Map. There are over 500 locations and it never stops growing because I can't seem to stop wandering. This community is designed to give you access to that map as well as to build a space for the modern wanderer in you to interact with other, like minded individuals. I plan to integrate weekly calls/chats, an ongoing discourse over the best local spots across the USA (and hopefully one day abroad), talk about camera gear, filming techniques, how to start "van life" and maybe eventually incorporate a space for deep, philosophical conversations. To wander externally is to wander internally. Reality is but a mirror, and I hope to see your reflection shining brightly within our community.
