Why I stopped building custom automations for every client (and built a library instead)

Ran a one-person agency for two years. Every new client meant rebuilding the same 5 automations from scratch: lead intake → CRM, cold outreach sequencing, and weekly client reporting. Same logic, different brand colors, every single time.

Eventually I just started saving every workflow I built as a template. Turns out most agency/freelancer automation problems fall into a small set of repeatable patterns:

  1. Lead capture → enrichment → CRM — form fills get auto-tagged, enriched with company data, and routed to the right pipeline stage without you touching a spreadsheet.

  2. Outreach sequencing — AI drafts personalized first-touch messages based on scraped context, queues follow-ups, and pauses automatically when a prospect replies.

  3. Client reporting — pulls metrics from wherever they live (ads, CRM, analytics) and auto-generates a client-ready report every Monday.

If you're running client work solo or with a tiny team, you're probably rebuilding these same flows over and over. That's the whole reason Lumina Automation Library exists — pre-built, editable n8n/Zapier-style workflows for exactly this, so you deploy in minutes instead of rebuilding for the tenth time.

Curious what repetitive workflow eats the most of your week — drop it below, might build a template for it.
