We’ve all been lied to. We came with the promise of the American Dream: study our master’s, pass the bar, get a job. And while that can happen, the system misled us into believing it would actually help us get there. False promises, LLM limitations, benefits reserved for J.D.s only. I remember being so pissed wondering: why won’t they give us resources when I paid all this money?
That’s why I built this community. No one was going to do it for us, so I did.
I passed the bar, got a job, started my own practice, and worked with top technology firms in the U.S. all on my own, during a pandemic. No guide, no book. And I know there are many of us out there.
This is a space for foreign-trained lawyers who are done guessing and ready to move, connect, and get real guidance, navigating the bar as a foreign LLM, building a career that actually goes somewhere, and finding people who get what you’re going through.
What we make of this community depends on us. So I hope you’re ready to be part of a
movement built on the foundation of the American Dream: diverse attorneys from all over the world proving they will make it.
Salud!
