3 things most altcoin traders get wrong
Been trading alts for years now. Here are the 3 mistakes I see over and over:
1. Chasing green candles
By the time you see a 40% pump on Twitter, the smart money already entered. If your strategy is "buy what's trending on CT," you're exit liquidity.
2. No invalidation point
Every trade needs a stop loss. Not a mental one — an actual one. "I'll just hold" has turned more portfolios to dust than any bear market.
3. Ignoring the macro
BTC dominance, ETH ratio, funding rates — these tell you whether it's actually altseason or if you're about to get wrecked. Most people skip this entirely.
The edge isn't finding the next 100x. It's having a system that keeps you in the game long enough to catch it.
That's what we do at Market Edge — structured signals with clear entries, targets, and stops. No hype, no hopium.
