Shaykh al-Shareef al-Musnid Abu Mohammed Hasan al-Kattani is related to the Prophet ﷺ himself, and he originates from a family of Ulama that goes back centuries. He started memorizing the Quran and Hadith at a very young age as is customary in his family. many of which were Giants of the 20th century and way before that like Abu Bakr al-Kattani. Others his scholastic ancestry were Shaykh Abdul Hayy al-Kettani, Shaykh Mohammed ibn Jafar al-Kettani, Shaykh Muntasir Kettani, Shaykh Mohammed Baqir Kettani and the list goes on.
