So I focused on changing the form to dispersing the loading force into the posterior chain (glutes + hamstring ) , the durable it band, & strengthening eccentric Tibialis. I focused on improving My Clients’ pliability , flexibility & mobility while also focusing on exercises that translate to his on field movements. While we watch film we would iso tuneup his movement patterns under 0 force while strengthening muscle imbalances without leaving him sore so it wouldn’t hinder his ability to practice & play.
We fixed the deceleration form , foot striking position & sprinting mechanics taught him the eccentric bow & concentric pigeon toe movement patterns of Jerry Rice , Randy Moss , Calvin Johnson, his former teammates Tyreek Hill , Deandre Hopkins , & Lamar Jackson. We got this into his CNS to improve his mind muscle connection and within 3 weeks we made it muscle memory and transformed his movement habits .
