Hello everyone -- my name is Rishab Jain and I took the ACT in the 2022-2023 school year, getting a 36/36 score. I want to share my strategies for getting this score.
If you haven't already, watch my video on 15 tips for the ACT.
When preparing for the ACT, I initially tried out Kaplan, Princeton Review, Barron's, and some other test prep books. However, after doing some research, I realized that their questions are low-quality and unauthentic. Often times, they purposely make the questions more difficult/easy to increase or decrease your confidence.
That's when I realized you have to stick to the real deal: real ACT practice tests. A bunch of my friends have spent thousands on testing centers — and the MOST helpful thing they've reported is the fact that they force you to take a practice test weekly. So, just take it on your own!
In my prep, I ended up just taking several ACT practice tests. This helped me secure a solid 36 score. I wish this type of package would have existed before I was taking my test.
