The #1 reason marriages fall apart (and it's not cheating)

Most people think infidelity kills relationships. It doesn't. What kills them is the slow death of unmet needs.

Here's what I've learned from 7+ years of marriage (got married at 22):

Your partner has needs they'll never directly tell you about. Not because they're hiding them — because they don't even know how to articulate them. And when those needs go unmet for months... years... resentment builds.

Resentment is the silent killer.

Three things I do every single week:

1. The 10-minute check-in. Every Sunday night, we ask each other: "What's one thing I did this week that made you feel loved? What's one thing I could do better?" No defensiveness allowed.

2. The "before it's a problem" conversation. If something bothers me, I bring it up within 48 hours. Not as a fight — as an observation. "Hey, I noticed I felt disconnected when..." This kills resentment before it takes root.

3. Physical presence without screens. 20 minutes a day, phones down, just us. Sounds simple. Almost nobody does it.

The marriages that survive aren't the ones with zero problems. They're the ones where both people refuse to let small problems become big ones.

If you're serious about making your relationship bulletproof, I'm sharing everything I know inside The Marriage Blueprint.
