Your 3-line bio is costing you customers
Most small business bios try to say everything. They end up saying nothing.
I read hundreds of them. The ones that convert do three jobs in three lines:
Who you help.
The result they get.
Why you are the person to do it.
Not your origin story. Not a list of services. Not "passionate about excellence."
Example:
"I write the words small businesses put on their sites, LinkedIn, and ads — so they sound as solid as the work they already do."
If a stranger cannot tell who it is for in three seconds, the bio is not done.
I used to serve people at 35,000 feet. Up there, you get one chance to be clear. Same rule on the internet.
