A structured course covering the foundations of practical, responsible cybersecurity: how networks and systems actually get attacked and defended, risk and threat modeling, authentication and access control, logging and detection basics, and how to set up a safe personal lab for practice.
Every technique is taught for defensive understanding, authorized testing, and research. The course does not teach unauthorized access, credential theft, or malware development, and will not help you attack systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
Format: video and text lessons, organized in chapters, with a certificate on completion.
Requirements: no prior security background needed; basic comfort with a computer.
License: personal learning access tied to your membership.
Updates: new lessons added as the course grows, included in your access.
