The 3 habits that changed how I use my mornings (steal them today)
Most people waste their mornings scrolling. Here's what actually moves the needle:
1. The 2-Minute Rule
If something takes less than 2 minutes, do it immediately. This clears mental clutter before it builds up. Your brain isn't a to-do list โ stop treating it like one.
2. Time-block your first 90 minutes
No notifications. No emails. Just your highest-leverage task. Research shows your prefrontal cortex is sharpest in the first 2 hours after waking. Use it or lose it.
3. Write down 3 wins from yesterday
Before you plan today, acknowledge what you already accomplished. This rewires your brain from "I'm behind" to "I'm building momentum."
I've packed these frameworks (and more) into free digital resources over at MindShift Digital. PDFs, guides, and tools built for students and young professionals who are done wasting time.
