The pricing mistake that's costing creators the most money
I've looked at a lot of creator offers, and the single most expensive mistake isn't bad content or a small audience — it's pricing based on guilt instead of value.
Here's the test I use before I let any offer go live: list out everything included, then ask "if someone paid 10x this price, would they still feel like they got a deal?" If yes, the price is too low. Every time.
Most creators do the opposite. They know their content has changed how people think, act, or earn — and then they charge $9 for it because they feel weird asking for more. That single sentence, "I feel bad charging my followers," is the most expensive belief in the creator economy.
The fix isn't a bigger audience. It's a proper offer ladder — a free entry point, a low-ticket product, a core offer, and a premium tier — so different people in your audience can say yes at different levels of trust and budget. A 5,000-person hyper-engaged audience with a real ladder will out-earn a passive 500,000-person one every time.
Put together the full system for this (audit → offer ladder → platform tactics → funnel scripts → launch → retention → scaling) if anyone wants to go deeper — happy to share more of the framework in the comments.
