MonsterLab — SMT
Confirmation, not direction.
SMT does not tell you where to go. It tells you whether the rest of the market agrees with you.
Two correlated tickers make the same high. One takes it, the other does not.
That is a footprint, and it shows up exactly where it matters: at the turns, when accumulation becomes manipulation and manipulation becomes expansion.
Use it on the higher timeframe to confirm delivery has shifted.
Use it on the lower one for precision at a level you already marked.
The pairs are mapped for you, so there is no ticker list to keep alive.
One warning, and it is the important part of this page.
In consolidation, divergence lies. Wait for structure.
SMT alone is incomplete. An FVG after SMT is the setup MonsterLab trades.
And like everything at MonsterLab, this indicator is no exception. It is built around PO3.
That means not every High or Low is relevant when identifying an SMT.
