Why most 'fit' people can't actually move

I've been breaking for 21 years. In that time I've trained next to bodybuilders, CrossFitters, yogis, and weekend warriors.

Here's what I noticed: most of them can lift, run, or stretch — but ask them to get down to the floor and back up smoothly, change direction under control, or hold their body in space? They freeze.

That's because most training builds capacity without building control.

You can bench 225 but you can't hold a handstand entry for 2 seconds. You can run a 5K but you can't transition from standing to the ground without looking like you're falling.

Body control is the missing layer. It's what makes an athlete look like an athlete.

3 things that changed my understanding of training:

  1. Strength should serve movement, not the other way around. If your strength doesn't make you move better, it's just decoration.

  1. Coordination is trainable. People think you either "have it" or you don't. Wrong. It's a skill, and it develops fast with the right drills.

  1. The floor is your teacher. Ground-based movement exposes every weakness — stiff hips, weak wrists, no core timing. Fix those and everything else improves.

I built Movement Mastery System to give people a structured path to real body control — using principles from breakdance, bodyweight training, and 21 years of moving.

If you've ever wanted to feel more capable, more athletic, and more confident in how your body moves — this is the system.
