Why I built a concierge membership instead of another agency

Spent years watching agencies bill hours for stuff that's really just relationship management — getting a table at a booked-out restaurant, scoring last-minute tickets, sorting a trip that fell apart two days out. The actual work isn't creative, it's access. You either have the relationships or you don't.

So Noir Access isn't a retainer-and-deck agency. It's a membership: you post a request in a private chat, a real concierge handles it end-to-end, you show up. No scoping calls, no proposals — just outcomes.

What I learned building it: the hardest part isn't the concierge work itself, it's the intake. Most 'VIP concierge' services die because requests come in messy (DM, email, text) and nothing gets tracked. Running it as a single chat channel per member fixes that instantly — every request, every confirmation, in one thread, timestamped, no dropped balls.

If you're building any kind of service business where the deliverable is 'a person handles this for you,' the structure matters more than the pitch. Two tiers, one channel, clear SLAs. That's it.
