The one thing I wish someone told me during my hardest season
When I was going through the hardest time of my life, losing my mother, raising kids alone, wondering if I'd ever feel like myself again, I kept waiting for someone to say the right thing.
But nobody did. Because most people don't know what to say when life falls apart.
So I started writing. Letters to myself. Letters to God. Letters to my kids. And slowly, those words became the thing that held me together.
That's why I started Nonna Maria. Because I know what it's like to need someone in your corner who's been through it, someone who won't judge, won't rush you, and won't give you a clichรฉ.
If you're in a hard season right now, here's what I want you to know:
You don't have to have it figured out. You just have to keep showing up. One day, one prayer, one breath at a time.
If you ever want a letter from me, a real, personal response to whatever's on your heart, I'm here. That's what I do. ๐
