Stack these 4 apps and stop leaving money on the table

The coupon is only half the savings. Layer these every trip:

  1. Store app first

    • Kroger: clip Weekly Digital Deals and Super Saver coupons. Store coupons can be used up to 5 times in one transaction.

    • Giant Eagle: clip digital coupons + fuelperks+.

    • Meijer: load mPerks before you shop.

    • Target: Circle offers (and Circle 360 monthly freebie if you have it).

  1. Ibotta

Add offers before you walk in, then scan the receipt. This week Kroger has had extra back on creamer, Annie's, and some snacks. Offers vary by account, so check yours.

  1. Fetch

Snap every grocery receipt. Points add up to gift cards. No clipping required.

  1. Paper manufacturer coupons

These stack on top of Kroger and Giant Eagle store digital coupons. They do not stack with manufacturer digital coupons for the same item. If the coupon in the app says manufacturer, skip the paper one.

Ohio weekly rhythm that works

  • Tuesday night: clip Kroger and Giant Eagle for the new ads.

  • Wednesday or Thursday morning: do the stock-up trip before loss leaders sell out.

  • Same night: scan Ibotta + Fetch.

That is how a $5 produce coupon plus BOGO chicken plus a $1 Mega Sale threshold turns into a real grocery cut, not just a "sale" price.

Join the chat for $1 if you want the drops as they land, not after they sell out.

How I Saved $2,400 Last Year Living in Ohio (And You Can Too)

Most people in Ohio don't realize how many deals are hiding in plain sight.

I'm talking about:

  • Store clearance cycles โ€” every major retailer in Ohio runs markdowns on a predictable schedule. Once you know the pattern, you're always buying at the lowest price.

  • Local freebie programs โ€” Ohio has state-specific programs for free museum days, free park passes, free community events. Most people have no idea they exist.

  • Stacking coupons + cashback โ€” the real savings come from layering. A $5 coupon on a $10 clearance item with 10% cashback? That's practically free.

  • Ohio-specific retailer deals โ€” Meijer, Kroger, Giant Eagle, Marc's โ€” each one has tricks that national deal sites never cover.

Last year I tracked everything. $2,400 saved. That's a vacation. That's a car payment. That's real money.

I started this community to share everything I find โ€” daily deal alerts, freebie drops, and a group of Ohio deal hunters helping each other save.

If you're in Ohio and you like saving money, this is your spot.
