Welcome to Greeks Dashboard Pro — Start Here

You're in. Here's how to use everything.

Welcome to Greeks Dashboard Pro. This is your command center for systematic delta and theta management. Here's exactly what you have access to and how to extract max value from day one.

---

📚 Live Call Replay Vault

Every live session is archived and searchable. Start with Module 1 if you're configuring your dashboard for the first time. If you're already trading live positions, jump straight to Module 2 (Delta Management) or Module 3 (Theta Decay Capture).

New replays are added weekly — check the Live Call Replays chapter after each session.

---

📊 Greeks Dashboard — Setup First

The dashboard tracks real-time delta exposure, theta decay curves, and portfolio-level risk across all open positions. Lessons 2 and 3 of Module 1 cover setup and watchlist configuration. Do those before you try to trade off the data.

---

💬 This Chat

Use this space for position questions, setup troubleshooting, and trade reviews. When asking about an adjustment, include: underlying, expiry, strikes, current P&L, and current delta. Vague questions get vague answers.

---

🗓️ Weekly Replay Schedule

Live sessions are uploaded within 24 hours. You'll see a new post here when a replay drops.

---

The One Rule

Don't trade both frameworks simultaneously before you've mastered one. Pick delta management OR theta capture. Run it for two weeks. Then layer in the other.

Most people fail by mixing systems they don't fully control yet.

Let's get to work.

The Real Reason Most Options Traders Lose: They Can't Read Their Greeks

Most options traders know what delta is. Almost none of them use it systematically.

Here's what actually separates consistent options income from blown accounts:

---

Delta Mismanagement Is the #1 Killer

When you sell a strangle, you're taking on directional risk the moment the market moves. Your short delta (from the call side) and long delta (from the put side) drift — and if you're not watching a live dashboard, you won't notice until you're already skewed 30-40 deltas in the wrong direction.

What systematic traders do instead:

  • Set a delta band (e.g., ±15 deltas at the portfolio level)

  • Monitor it in real time via a Greeks dashboard

  • Adjust when the band breaks, not when P&L hurts

The adjustment isn't the hard part. Knowing when to adjust is the hard part. That's what a dashboard solves.

Theta Decay Isn't Passive Income

Everyone loves "selling premium" because theta is "working for you." But theta decay is non-linear. The last 7-10 days before expiration is where most of your decay actually lives — the first 20 days of a 30-DTE position give you relatively little.

This matters for two reasons:

  1. Entry timing — entering too far out means you're warehousing gamma risk for almost no theta pickup

  2. Exit timing — holding too long means you're collecting pennies while carrying significant assignment or pin risk

The optimal DTE window for most premium-selling strategies is 21-45 days, with a target close at 50% of max profit around 14-21 DTE.

What a Live Greeks Dashboard Actually Shows You

A properly built dashboard surfaces:

  • Portfolio delta (net directional exposure across all positions)

  • Per-position theta (what you're collecting daily from each trade)

  • Gamma risk (how fast your delta is changing as price moves)

  • Vega exposure (your sensitivity to IV crush or expansion)

Most retail traders are flying blind on 3 of these 4 metrics.

---

The Takeaway

If you're selling premium without a Greeks dashboard, you're running a system you can't see. You'll have good months when IV stays high and the market drifts. You'll get destroyed in the months when it doesn't.

Build the infrastructure first. The edge follows from the structure.
