The GumRevive Red + Blue Light Therapy System combines 16 blue LEDs at 460nm with 16 red LEDs at 620nm. Its two operating modes let you choose a dedicated blue-light session or a combined red-and-blue session, depending on your routine.

The red channel is intended to support general gum comfort and local circulation. The blue channel adds a separate wavelength mechanism that has been studied in laboratory settings for activity involving certain gum-associated bacteria. The two wavelengths serve different purposes and should not be treated as one combined medical claim.

Understanding the two light channels

460nm blue light: This wavelength falls within a blue-light range that has demonstrated bactericidal activity against Porphyromonas gingivalis under laboratory conditions. Separately, clinician-administered blue-light laser treatment has been studied as an addition to professional periodontal care.
