What a 0–3 month baby actually needs to wear
Most first-time parents overbuy clothes. A newborn lives in three things: a onesie, a cap, and whatever you wrap them in at 3am.
Skip the outfits with snaps you cannot operate one-handed. Skip anything you have to iron. If it cannot go through a hot wash after a spit-up, it does not belong in the drawer.
The pieces that survive the first year are boring on purpose: cotton blend, no fussy seams, sizes that still fit at month four. That is the entire Zastudio line — onesie, cap, pacifier. Nothing else until those three are right.
If you are packing a hospital bag this month, start there. Everything else can wait until you know whether your baby runs hot or cold.
