A new client came to me with a strange problem.
His thumbnails looked good.
Clean design. Nice colors. Good layout.
But the CTR was not improving.
When I checked the thumbnail, the problem was not the design quality.
The problem was visibility.
The main subject was too small to stop people while scrolling.
So I made one small change:
I made the main image bigger and more dominant.
That one change helped improve the CTR.
Sometimes your thumbnail doesn’t need a full redesign.
It just needs better focus.
Because on YouTube, people don’t click what looks “nice.”
They click what they notice first.
