Drop-in Express middleware that charges AI agents per API call using the x402 payment flow. Unpaid requests get a 402 with machine-readable payment requirements; paid requests flow through. Each route sets its own asset, network, and price.

Multi-asset: not hard-coded to USDC — each paid route can use another supported asset (USDC is default). Settlement depends on asset/network combinations supported by your x402 facilitator. No asset is advertised as settlement-verified: live on-chain settlement testing is in progress.

Facilitator-aware: declare your facilitator’s supported assets and networks, and misconfigured routes fail at startup instead of at payment time.

Setup: 1) npm install, 2) set receiver address, asset, network, and prices, 3) point the verifier at your facilitator. Includes a dev verifier for local testing, an append-only payment ledger, and a /.well-known/x402 discovery manifest.

v1.0.4 — x402 v1 wire-format fix: the facilitator verifier now posts the canonical {paymentPayload, paymentRequirements} envelope, maps network ids to v1 names, and converts amounts to base units. Verified live against x402.org.
