The 3 habits that actually matter when you're starting fitness
I've seen hundreds of beginners burn out in the first month. They go all-in on Monday, skip Wednesday, feel guilty by Friday, and quit by month two.
Here's what actually works:
1. Move for 20 minutes, 4 days a week.
Not 60 minutes. Not 6 days. The goal isn't to destroy yourself — it's to make exercise feel normal. Walk, bodyweight, light weights. Doesn't matter. Just show up 4 times.
2. Eat one more real meal per day than you currently do.
Don't overhaul your diet overnight. Just add one meal that's mostly protein + vegetables. That's it. Stack from there.
3. Sleep before midnight, at least 5 nights a week.
Recovery is where progress happens. You don't grow in the gym — you grow while you sleep. Treat sleep like it's your #1 supplement.
These three habits alone will change your body in 90 days. No complicated program needed.
