The 3 sentences that make it worse (and what to say instead)
I built a thing for guys who care about their girlfriend or wife and still somehow make it worse once a month. I was one of them.
Here's the part I'd give away for free, because most of you only need this much:
1. "Is it that time of the month?"
This is never a question. It's an accusation with a question mark on it. You're telling her the thing she feels isn't real — it's just chemistry. Nothing you say after this lands.
Say instead: "You seem off today. Do you want to talk about it or do you want me to just be around?" Two options, no diagnosis, and she picks.
2. "Just try to relax."
Nobody in the history of being upset has relaxed because they were told to. It reads as "your reaction is the problem," not the thing she's reacting to.
Say instead: nothing. Bring her water. Sit down. Silence with company beats advice every time.
3. "I don't know what you want from me."
Fair feeling. Terrible sentence. It hands her the job of managing you on the day she has the least capacity to manage anything.
Say instead: "I want to help and I'm not sure how. Give me one thing." Same feeling, but you're carrying it instead of handing it over.
---
The pattern underneath all three: you're trying to solve a week that has to be survived together. Different job. Once that clicked for me the whole thing got easier.
The rest of what I put together is a phase-by-phase breakdown — what's happening across her 28 days and what she actually needs from you in each stretch, plus a tracker so you're never blindsided. It's $29, one time.
But genuinely — if you only take those three swaps and use them this month, you're already ahead of where I was for two years.
