I've spent the last year building lead lists and testing outreach across dozens of niches. Here's what I've learned:
The #1 mistake? Sending the same generic pitch to thousands of people and hoping for the best. That's not outreach — that's spam.
Here's what actually works:
1. Volume matters, but targeting matters more.
Having 8 million leads means nothing if you're blasting everyone. The winners I've seen pick a tight niche (e.g. Shopify store owners doing $10k-$50k/month) and craft a specific message for that audience.
2. Your first line is everything.
Nobody reads past a boring opener. Reference something specific — their business, a recent post, their website. Even a fake personal touch beats a template.
3. Follow up 3-5 times.
80% of deals happen after the 3rd follow-up. Most people quit after 1. Be the one who doesn't.
4. Warm up before you scale.
New domain? Start with 20 emails/day for 2 weeks. Ramp to 50, then 100. Skip this and you'll land in spam forever.
I built Pixelvault to give people the raw material they need — 8M leads across multiple industries. But the strategy is what turns data into dollars.
