The 5-minute meal prep hack that changed how I feed my clients

I've been a nutritionist for years, and the #1 reason people fail at eating healthy isn't motivation — it's decision fatigue.

By Wednesday, most people have already burned through their willpower on work decisions. Asking "what should I eat?" at 7 PM is a losing game.

Here's what I tell every client on day one:

The Sunday Stack Method:

  1. Pick 2 proteins, 2 grains, 3 vegetables

  2. Cook them all on Sunday in bulk — takes about 90 minutes

  3. Every night, just combine in different ways: bowl, wrap, stir-fry, salad

That's it. No recipe hunting. No "what's for dinner." You already have the answer in your fridge.

The key insight: variety comes from combinations, not from cooking something new every day. 2 proteins × 2 grains × 3 veggies = 12 unique meals from one prep session.

This is what I build my entire weekly meal plan service around. If you want the exact plans, grocery lists, and recipes done for you every week — that's what Plate Plan is.

But honestly, even if you just try the Sunday Stack this week, you'll feel the difference by Thursday.

Welcome to Plate Plan 🍽️ (Start Here)

Welcome — glad you're here.

Here's how this works:

Every week, I drop a new meal plan in the Recipes & Updates feed. Each plan includes:

  • 5-7 days of balanced meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner + snacks)

  • A full grocery list so you can shop in one trip

  • Quick-prep recipes — nothing over 30 minutes

Community Chat — hop in, share your wins, ask questions. I'm in there daily answering nutrition questions.

Quick start: Check back this week for your first plan. In the meantime, drop a comment below and tell me your biggest nutrition struggle — I'll factor it into upcoming plans.

Let's eat well.

The 3 meals that changed how I eat on busy weeks

I used to order takeout 4-5 nights a week. Not because I wanted to — I just couldn't figure out what to cook after a long day.

Then I started building a system. Not a diet. Not a restrictive plan. Just 3 anchor meals that I could rotate every week and never get tired of.

Here's the framework:

Meal 1: The Bowl — Pick a grain, a protein, a green, and a sauce. Rice + chicken + spinach + peanut sauce. Done in 20 min.

Meal 2: The Sheet Pan — Everything goes on one pan. Salmon, broccoli, sweet potato. Season, roast at 400° for 25 min. Zero cleanup.

Meal 3: The Stir Fry — Whatever vegetables are about to go bad + any protein + soy sauce and garlic. 15 minutes, no recipe needed.

These 3 meals alone cut my takeout spending by 60% and I actually started looking forward to cooking.

I built Plate Plan around this idea — simple, repeatable meals for people who don't have time to scroll through recipe blogs. New plans drop weekly.
