Why most futures traders blow up — and how to stop
Most futures traders don't fail because of bad entries. They fail because of bad exits and no plan.
After years trading futures, here are the 3 things that actually moved the needle:
1. Stop trading every session. The best setups come 2-3 times a week, not 2-3 times a day. If you're forcing trades, you're donating to the market.
2. Define your risk before the trade, not during it. If you're moving stops after entry, you already lost. Pre-define your R, stick to it, review later.
3. Trade with serious people. The fastest way to level up is being in a room where people are doing what you want to do. Accountability changes everything.
That's what we're building at Invictus Animus — a room of serious futures traders who actually want to get better. No noise, no guru nonsense, just sharp traders helping each other find an edge.
If that sounds like your speed, come through.
