40 alerts a day is not a strategy. It's a tax on your attention.

Most “signal” rooms dump 30–40 tickers before the open. You can't size 40 names. You can't even read 40 theses. So you pick the ones that already ran, skip the ones that look boring, and then wonder why the P&L doesn't match the Discord screenshots.

A usable pre-market alert has four fields. That's it:

  • Ticker

  • Entry (or range)

  • Hard stop

  • Target (or invalidation)

If the room can't fit it in four lines, it isn't a setup. It's a vibe.

The other filter: time. If it isn't on the desk before 9:30 ET, it isn't a pre-market alert. Midday “just in” pings are how people market-buy the high.

I built Signal Desk around a cap of two or three US names a session. Fewer ideas. Written levels. No recap thread pretending to be a trade.

If that sounds slower than what you're in now, good. Slow is the point.
