Why I stopped waiting to 'find' my purpose
For years I treated purpose like a lost set of keys — something I'd eventually stumble on if I looked hard enough. Read enough books, prayed enough prayers, waited for the lightning bolt.
It never came. What came instead was this: purpose isn't found, it's built. One decision at a time, repeated on days you don't feel like it.
Here's the framework that actually changed things for me — three non-negotiables, every single day, no matter what:
Move your body before you touch your phone. Doesn't matter what — a walk, lifting, push-ups on the floor. Your nervous system decides the tone of the day in the first 30 minutes. Win that, and everything after is easier.
Do the hard thing first. The call you're avoiding, the workout, the conversation. Willpower is highest in the morning and burns down all day. Spend it on what matters, not on email.
Tell someone. Not for accountability theater — because purpose forged alone rots. Iron sharpens iron. You need men who will ask you next week if you actually did it.
None of this is complicated. It's just uncomfortable, and most men quit around week two because there's no brotherhood pushing them past the point where motivation runs out.
That's the actual reason I built Primal Purpose — not because the world needs another course, but because I needed men in my corner who wouldn't let me drift, and couldn't find that anywhere. So we built it: daily discipline, real accountability, and guys who show up.
If any of the three habits above land with you, start with just one tomorrow morning. Report back here how it goes — genuinely curious what happens when you do.
