Most people type one vague sentence into ChatGPT, get a generic answer, and conclude "AI isn't that useful for my business." It's not the model — it's the prompt.

Here's the structure I use for almost everything, and it's the same one behind every prompt in PromptStack:

1. Give it a role and the real context.

Not "write a product description," but "You're a direct-response copywriter. Here's my product: [details]. Here's who buys it: [audience]." The model performs wildly differently once it knows who it's supposed to be and who it's talking to.

2. Ask for the reasoning before the output.

Tell it to think through the angle, the risks, or the competing options first, then produce the final result. Skipping this step is the #1 reason AI output feels shallow — you're seeing its first guess, not its best one.

3. Force a concrete, checkable output.

"Give me ideas" gets you fluff. "Give me 5 options, ranked, with a one-line reason for each" gets you something you can actually act on today.

That's it. No special tools, no plugins — just structure.
